The Shama’il of Imam Tirmidhi

This is the arguably the most indispensable collection of hadith related
to the Prophet’s blessed biography صلى الله عليه وسلم. It was compiled by
the eminent hadith scholar, Imam Abu ‘Isa al-Tirmidhi less than three
centuries after the passing away of the Prophet Muhammedصلى الله عليه وسلم.
It contains a collection of 417 narrations dealing with all spheres of
the Prophetصلى الله عليه وسلم’s life from his honourable outer appearance
and characteristics like his bodily features and clothing; to his hallowed
inner traits such as his humility and humour. Scholar’s have said that
whoever missed the opportunity to see the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم need
only study this book to gain a vivid perception of what it would have been
like to live among the Prophetصلى الله عليه وسلم and his Companions.

to know our beloved Nabiصلى الله عليه وسلم , by which our love for him can
become stronger InshaAllah and as mentioned above we will be able to
gain a vivid perception of what it would have been like to live among
the Prophetصلى الله عليه وسلم  and his Companions.
