بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم
In the Name of Allah,
the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
31. But if he puts on Ihraam for Hajj he still remains a Muhrim and
he remains in Makkah like this in the same state till the 8th of Dhil
Hajj (يَوم التّروِية).
32. On يَوم التّروِية a person will put on Ihraam if he was not in the
state of Ihraam, then all the Hajjis will go to Mina منى so as to spend
that night there and the coming out towards Mina on the 8th is a Sunnah,
and a person leaving this will not be harmed (he does not have to pay
fidyah).
33. On the 9th morning after sunrise the Hajjis will walk towards Arafah
from Mina and the Sunnah is that the Hajjis should not enter Arafah unless
it is after Zawal زَوال rather it is a Sunnah that he stays by Masjidun Namira
until after Zhuhrظُهر time has entered and he performs Zhuhr with Asr Jama'a
Thakdeem (joined and bought forward).
34. Then he will enter Arafah and stay there till sunset and in Arafah the Hajji
will remember his Rabb and he will make whatever Dua'a he wishes and
increase Tahlil - la ilaha illAllah and Wuqoof at Arafah is a Rukan رُكن.
35. There are so many Dua'as narrated to be recited on this great day which
is the greatest day among all days :
''There is no god but Allah alone, without partner. His is the dominion,
His is the praise, and He has power over everything.
36. When the sun sets they will start towards Muzdalifah مُزدلِفَة . Wuqoof at
Arafah will be correct if a person stands for only a moment from the 9th Zawal
till the Fajr on the day of Eid (10th). Anytime he stands will suffice, but the best
is that he gathers between part of the day and part of the night.
37. When the Hajji reaches Muzdalifah, he performs Magribمَغْرِب andعيشاء Isha,
Qasr Jam جمع تأخِيرَا قصر جمع , and it is Waajib that he remains there
until half the night (2nd half) has past, if he comes out from there before half the
night is passed a Dam will become Waajib. It is recommended to pick up stones
from Mina for Ramiرمى (small pebbles)then he performs Salathul Fajr, then he
walks till he reaches Al Mash'aril Haraam - this is a small hill at the end of
Muzdalifah and he will make Dua'a to Allah Ta'ala there and part of his Dua'a
will consist of :
Wuqoof at Al Mash'aril Haraam is Sunnah.
38. It is Sunnah to remain standing at Al Mash'aril Haraam facing Qibalah
till إِشْراق Ishraaq time (till the light shines from the east, amount that you can
see each others faces) then they will start walking towards Mina (after sunrises).
39. When the Hajjis reaches Mina it is Waajib on him to pelt جمرة الكُبرى
Jamarathul Kubrah, meaning Jamarathul Kubrah which is in the west part of
Mina by the road towards Makkah.
40. It is Sunnah to stand while pelting - facing the Jamarath, Mina will be on
his right Makkah on to his left and he will stop Talbiyah at this point ( when
starting to pelt)
41. And it is Sunnah to say Takbeer with every pebble thus he will say :
الله اكبر الله اكبر الله اكبر
and it is also Sunnah to pelt with the right hand while raising it to such an extent
that the whiteness of the armpit will be evident, however a woman will not raise
it to that extent.
42. It is Waajib that the stone should reach the place to be pelted ( the Jamarath)
if the stone didn't reach then it will not be counted.
43. When the Haji has finished his Rami he'll slaughter his هَدِى Hadi (if he has
a Hadi with him. Hadi means that animal which the Hajji brings from home
to gift it to Makkah and it's Haram intending closeness to Allah Ta'ala.
44. Then he will shave his hair or trim, the best for a man is shaving and the best
for a woman is trimming. Shaving or trimming are of the Arkan of Hajj.
45. Then when he has pelted and shaven he has become حلال Halal and has done
the 1st تحلل tahallul (partly released from Ihram) and everything is Halal for him eg :-
meaning stitched garments, putting perfume but women still remain haraam on him.
46. After shaving he will come to Makkah and makeطواف الافاضة Tawaaful
Ifadhah (7 rounds around the Ka'bah) and this Tawaaf is a Rukan and Hajj will not
be complete until it is done.
47. Then he makes Sa'i if he has not made the Sa'i of Hajj after Tawaaful Qudoom
thus everything becomes Halal for him even women and contracting of Nikkah or
he himself getting married.
48. Then he will return to Mina to spend the night. Spending the night at Mina is
Waajib if he leaves it he has to pay a Dam.
49. After the Zawal of the Sun (moves from the center), meaning when the Zuhar
time enters the time of Rami also enters then he will pelt the 1st Jamrath with 7
pebbles then الجمرة وُسطى Jamrathul Wustha then الجمرة العقبة
Jamrathul uqabah and this order will be Waajib in pelting.
50. Then he spends the 2nd night (12th) in Mina thus when Zuhar time enters the
time of Rami also enters. Thus he peltsالجمرة الاُولى Jamarathul Ula, الجمرة الثانِية
Jamrathul Saniya, and الجمرة العقبة Jamarathul Uqabah.
51. Thus when he has completed the Rami on the 12th (2nd day out of the days
of ايام التَشْرِيق Aiyamul Thashreek) it is permissible for him to make fast or
hasten towards Makkah. Certainly all his deeds of Hajj are completed.
52. It is Waajib for him to leave Mina before sunset, if the sun sets while he is in
Mina it is Waajib for him to spend the 3rd night in Mina, thus when it is Zuhar
time he pelts (on the 13th) then he leaves to Makkah.
53. When the Haji intends to return to his country he makesطواف الوداع
Tawaaful Wada and this Tawaaf is Waajib, if he leaves he has to pay a Dam,
but for a Haaiza (a woman in the state of menstruation ) she can leave out
Tawaaful Wada and this will fall off from her. After Tawaaful Wada it is
Waajib not to delay the journey, if he stays in Makkah after it, he has to
repeat it.
54. It is Sunnah to drink the water of Zam zam and while drinking intend
whatever خَير (Good) he wishes and it is recommended to face the Ka'bah
while drinking it.
In the Name of Allah,
the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
