Maula Ya Salli Wa Sallim

This is one of my favaorite Qasidahs its written by Imam Busairi (R.A.A)

when he became paralysed , in total helplessness and despair he wrote
this poem expressing the excellence and grandeur of Rasoolullah
(S.A.W). While reading it he fell asleep. In his dream he saw
Rasoolullah (S.A.W), he told him of his illness. Rasoolullah (S.A.W)
passed his hand over his body. Through the barakath of Rasoolulah
(S.A.W) Allah Ta'ala cured him completely. When he Woke up he
found a scarf or shawl on his body which he had seen Rasoolullah
(S.A.W) placing over him. This is how it got its name
'' Qasidah Burdah '' the poem of the scarf.

Why I chose this particular video is because it reminded me of the
sahabah, the way they must have travelled , the way they went on
their expeditions, etc..
