Al Asma Ul Husna 99 Names Of Allah God



وَلِلهِ الأَسْمَآءُ الْحُسْنى فادْعُوهُ بِهاَ
And (all) the Most Beautiful Names belong to Allah, so call
on Him by them,

Abu Hurairah (R.A) relates that Rasoolullah صلى الله عليه وسلم
said "surely Allah has 99 Names, i.e, one hundred minus one
(100-1), and whoever holds on to it, will enter Jannah and Allah
is Witr (one) and loves 'the Witr'.

Note: Whosoever holds on to it - means who ever memorizes
them - because in a narration it is stated من حفظها meaning
"who ever memories it" - will enter Jannah.

Ulema say memorize it means, memorize its meaning and
believe in it. Some Ulema say it means, whoever believes in
it and acts according to it.

Allah Ta'ala tells us in the Qur'an to call on Him by these beautiful
Names. That is to say whenever we make dua to Him, First we must
call Him by some of these names then ask for our needs because the
Ismul -A'zam : The Greatest Name of Allah through which Duas are
heard and any need is fulfilled are hidden is these names according to
one narration the Ismul- A'zam is contained in one of the begining of
the three Surahs : Al-Baqarah, Al-'Imran, Taa-Haa.

 المّ اللهُ الا اِلهَ اِلاَّ هُوَ الحََىُّ القَيُّوْمُ
Alif  Laam  Meem! Allah is He besides whom there is none
worthy of worship - The Everliving, The Self-Subsisting.    

So let us learn, and understand  each and everyone of Allah Ta'ala's
beautiful names and teach it to our children also and make amal
(practice) on it to reap the benefit from this hadith.
